About / The district

A working neighborhood
along the Museum Reach.

River North runs along Broadway from Jones Avenue down to Brooklyn Avenue, inside loop 35, just north of downtown and south of the Pearl. It's the stretch of San Antonio where the Museum Reach of the river meets a real urban neighborhood: residents upstairs, breweries on the corner, dogs on the patio, art on the wall.

A district, not a development

Built by the people who live here.

River North isn't one building or one block. It's the combination of independent operators who showed up early, the residents who moved in upstairs, the river that runs through, and a museum that has anchored the corner since long before the rest of us arrived.

It's the kind of place where you can run an errand, walk the dog, take a meeting, and stay for dinner without ever moving the car.
